This weekend it will be possible to discover the Bosco di San Francesco through guided tours and workshops:
Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 Visit with the Director “IL RISVEGLIO DEL BOSCO” – departure at 11:00 from the entrance to Piazza Basilica Superiore
The awakening of the Wood is also an awakening of our senses: sight, smell, hearing become the protagonists of the walk in the company of the Director Laura Cucchia. A sensory journey to indulge in the discovery of nature, its smells and colors.

Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 “SAINT FRANCIS AND THE ANIMALS” – departure at 3.00 pm from the Benedictine complex of S. Croce
Walk for adults and children to discover the gentle soul of St. Francis and his great love for the creatures that populate the Wood.
The visit will allow you to enjoy Pistoletto’s work Third Paradise.

Sunday 26 – Activities for families “FANTASTIC ANIMALS AND HOW TO CREATE THEM” – 11.30 am Benedictine Complex of S. Croce
The Bosco di San Francesco is home to many animal species… but where are the fantastic ones hiding?
Let’s find out together with a workshop for children aged 5 to 10. Armed with imagination, children will be guided in the construction of their fantastic animal. The workshop will be preceded by a moment of storytelling in which some fantastic animals of antiquity and their meaning will be illustrated. We will then proceed to the creation of creatures that are the result of the children’s imagination.

Reduced: €6
It will also be possible to visit the Wood independently with a contribution starting from 3 euros, from 10:00 to 18:00 (last admission at 16:00).
We remind you that for this weekend all FAI registration fees will be discounted by 10 euros and if you join the Bosco we will refund the cost of the ticket!
