Saint Paulino’s Days

– The demonstrations will start on Sunday, July 9th at 21:00 with the Saint Paulino Parade, Lucca Flag-bearers show in Piazzale Arrigoni.

– Tuesday 11th from piazzale Verdi the Luminara di San Paolino will leave at 20.30 pm, which winding through the streets of the center, will conclude in piazzale Arrigoni, where at 21.30 pm there will be an exhibition of various urban historical groups.

– On Wednesday, July 12th, the main day of the festivities will open at 10:30 with the solemn mass in the church of San Paulino, to continue at 12:00 at the baluard San Donato with the Prima Gazzarra, where with Historica Lucense the famous “miracle” of the Saint will be revived with artillery strikes Patron Saint of Lucca. In the evening, at 21.30, in Piazzale Arrigoni, the Palio di San Paolino returns to the stage where the best Lucca balestriers of the Compagnia and Contrade will compete.

– Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th starting at 18.00, at the San Paolino barracks, several initiatives and collateral exhibitions will take place and there will also be a themed exhibition, dedicated to various souvenirs connected to the Palio and its history.

– Always on Sunday, July 16th, at 12:00, at the San Donato gun range there will be the Second Artillery Gazzarra.
