DESCRIPTION:Extended until March 5 \nClosed Monday \n“Looks” brings together the pictorial works of Alessandra Puntoni. Painter\, restorer\, decorator and teacher\, Alessandra Puntoni manifests herself artistically as a generous and free spirit despite the rigor of the techniques used\, an artist capable of creating powerful and delicate works at the same time. \nQuoting the president of the Banca del Monte di Lucca Foundation and the president of the Lucca Sviluppo Foundation (instrumental body of the previous one)\, in Alessandra Puntoni’s paintings “previous experiences are recognized (thus\, in the careful choice of materials\, paints\, colors\, in the taste for research\, in the prȇt-à-porter supports\, rollable and self-supporting\, already typical of detached frescoes)\, but then both a new technique explodes (filling the surface of the painting with large thicknesses of base material and “the scratch as with the scalpel” to highlight the alternating brightness) is a new vision: an expression of wonder\, surprise\, discovery\, almost like someone who has always lived enclosed and at a certain point finds the strength to leave his own walls\, from your own backyard and to go for a walk – body and mind – in the streets and in the world”. \nThe exhibition will be open to visitors\, with free admission\, from 29 January to 5 March\, from Tuesday to Sunday\, from 3pm to 7pm. \nAfter graduating as a restorer\, Alessandra specialized in the “detached frescoes” sector\, obtaining the task of restoring the frescoes in the Pisa Camposanto.
