A group of exhibitors who meet every last weekend of the month since 1988 to offer many original and traditional products for sale in Piazza San Giusto\, in the heart of the old city next to the Piazzetta del Libro\, a “Paris-style” corner where lovers of printed paper can find out-of-print books and vintage prints. \nCeramists\, painters\, sculptors\, artisans of leather\, glass and papier-mâché\, weavers\, jewellers\, cabinetmakers\, seamstresses and embroiderers\, knitting and crochet experts are the artists and craftsmen animating the market of Arts and Crafts with their manufactured goods. \nStrolling along the stalls you will find colourful animals\, stars and suns\, notebooks and bookmarks made of papier-mâché from the Viareggio carnival tradition\, clothing accessories in recycled leather and jewellery made with various stones and cast metals\, but also sophisticated clay and terracotta furnishings. \nThe Lucca Arti e Mestieri market is organized by an association that has always been committed to safeguarding and promoting the creativity of people working with passion and ingenuity to realize their products. About fifty selected exhibitors promote the development and knowledge of artistic and manual activities and are at disposal of the visitors also for detailed information.
