DESCRIPTION:The program of events that will animate the city of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana throughout 2022 is called “Terre Furiose”\, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the arrival of the Estense Commissioner Ludovico Ariosto. \nThe Municipality of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana\, together with Lucca Crea (an instrumental company of the Municipality of Lucca which manages the Lucca exhibition center and organizes cultural events and events such as Lucca Comics & Games) will in fact offer a rich offer of events and initiatives that wink to new contemporary languages: comics\, games\, fantasy fiction\, cosplay\, of which the festival is the spokesperson\, establishing itself as the most important community event in Europe. All the activities are and will be carried out thanks to the support of the Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundation and the collaboration with Promo PA Foundation. \n  \nUntil 30 September 2022 even the great contemporary Italian fantasy art will return to shine in the Valle del Fantastico thanks to the four illustrators who interpreted the master’s masterpiece: Luca Zontini\, Paolo Barbieri\, Dany Orizio and Lucio Parrillo\, whose tables reinterpretations of Ariosto’s characters will be exhibited in the foyer of the Alfieri Theater. It is a fantasy art installation that has its origins in the great project “L”Orlando Curioso” with works also published in the ImagineFX Italia register (leading digital art magazine). The exhibition itinerary will address the various phases of creative appropriation of the characters of Orlando Furioso by the 4 artists\, up to their very personal and modern expressive synthesis. \nTo anticipate the calendar of events \, the program of online gaming sessions on the Twitch channel of Lucca Comics & Games aimed at the youngest  started on 28 January . Friday 29 April  at 8.45 pm there will be a new stage of the impervious journey in the “Terre Furiose”\, the path branded Lucca Comics & Games in collaboration with the Municipality of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana\, to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the arrival of Ariosto in Garfagnana . This time to accompany\, Licia Troisi\, Luca Raina\, The Mother of Dragons and Lorenzo Fantoni. Master Mauro Longo. Everything will be visible on the Lucca Comics & Games Twitch channel:  www.twitch.tv/luccacomicsandgames . Monday 28th March\, at 20.45 there will be a new stage of the impervious journey in the “Terre Furiose”\, the path branded Lucca Comics & Games in collaboration with the Municipality of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana\, to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the arrival of Ariosto in Garfagnana.
