Movie Caveman The Hidden Giant (in Italian)

In a cave in the Apuane Alps, 650 meters underground, you can find the deepest work of art in the world. It is a marble colossus, a giant naked sleeping in the heart of the earth, to which the sculptor Filippo Dobrilla has continued to work for more than 30 years in absolute solitude in the darkness of the cave. But what drives an artist to fall into one of the deepest abyss in Europe to realize his most ambitious, but inaccessible to the eyes of men? This is the question to which Caveman is looking for an answer, moving between Filippo’s secret youthful passions, his desire for isolation, his idea of a pure art, without compromise. To dive into the darkness of the cave means for him to take refuge in a place where he can feel free, protected and far from prejudices and conditions of contemporary society.
