You are invited to the Liberation Anniversary ceremony  and to the numerous scheduled events  organized for next April 25th.

The institutional celebrations will begin  at 9.30   in Piazza XX Settembre, while  at 10.00  the Holy Mass is scheduled in the cathedral of S. Martino. The public ceremony will continue in the Cortile degli Svizzeri at 11.00 with interventions by the authorities and official orations.

 For the occasion , free guided tours of the monumental rooms of the Doge’s Palace will also be organized .

From  3.00 pm  to  6.00 pm  the extraordinary opening of  the Risorgimento Museum,  the  “Cresci” Museum of the History of Italian Emigration and the  Napoleonic olfactory itinerary  “The nose and history”  set up on the noble floor of the Doge’s Palace is scheduled.

It will also be possible to visit the  exhibitions of the Lucca Film Festival and Europa Cinema 2019 extended until 25 April.

 Guided tours of the Teatro del Profumo and the monumental rooms of the Doge’s Palace are scheduled at 3.00  pm  and  4.30 pm . Admission is free with reservations required.
