Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, a film directed by Peyton Reed, is the third chapter starring the two superheroes Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne (Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly) able to shrink as much as an insect.
The story delves more into Scott and Hope’s life as a couple. While the first is busy with the publication of his book, the second is dedicated to humanitarian causes. Their happy existence, however, is also surrounded by the presence of Hope’s parents, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), and by Scott’s daughter, Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton). She the latter, now a teenager, shares the love of science and technology with her father. It will be precisely the curiosity of the young woman to drag everyone on a journey into the subatomic world, which will also lead them beyond the limits of human imagination. This world is inhabited by new and strange creatures, but also by a new villain, known as the Time Lord, Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors).
Completely dispersed in the Quantum Realm Scott, Cassie, Hope, Hank and Janet will have to try to find their way home and stop Kang before it’s too late, but it will be the presence of young Cassie that will prove fundamental in the battle with the Time Lord. ..
