Art Exhibition “The Sound of the Wind”

On Friday 3 June 2022 at 4.30 pm, at the Church of San Cristoforo in via Fillungo in Lucca, “The sound of the wind”, a personal exhibition of the painter Annamaria Buonamici, will be inaugurated.
Annamaria Buonamici’s works are made with a very personal technique, through which the artist paints transparent fiberglass plates with oil colors on the back. Her creative universe is focused on the observation of the natural landscape: through continuous games of overlapping and contrasting effects, the painter represents nature with suggestive chromatic combinations, in an attempt to grasp its deepest essence.
Annnamaria Buonamici was born in Lucca in 1954. In the 70s she deals with sets for theatrical performances. Since 1983 you have begun an intense exhibition activity, holding solo and group exhibitions throughout Italy and abroad and participating in numerous contemporary art fairs. Some of her paintings are preserved in important public and private collections in Italy, Peru, Argentina, Japan, Australia.
The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Mercurio Arte Contemporanea gallery in Viareggio, is accompanied by a catalog with an introduction by Marco Del Monte. It will remain open until June 15th, with the following times: from Monday to Friday, 4.30pm – 7.30pm; Saturday and Sunday, 10.00 – 12.00 / 16.30 – 19.30. Infoline: 328 3252107.
