Art on Screen
In San Micheletto the cycle of screenings dedicated to the protagonists of contemporary art is underway
After the success of the previous editions, the now traditional cycle of video, film and documentary screenings on art is back, proposed by the Ragghianti Foundation in the winter and created with the support of the Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundation.
The cycle Art on the screen , which is part of the line of research traced by Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti, one of the main theorists and pioneers of the use of the audiovisual medium for the interpretation and dissemination of art, this year focuses on contemporary: from Emilio Vedova to the Italian art of the sixties and seventies, up to some protagonists of the young and very lively African scene.
The next appointments of the review are scheduled for January 28 with The revolution is us. Arte in Italia 1967-1977 (2020, 83 minutes) by Ilaria Freccia and on 11 February with The dreams of a story (2022, 65 minutes) by Alessandro Romanini himself.
