The Kiev orchestra performs at Torre del Lago

A musical event that will be an opportunity to show solidarity with Ukraine

They left their country on February 23, before Ukraine knew the horror of war. A journey planned through the boot for a tour with which to express their love for music and to appreciate the quality of their interpretations; artists of a country, Ukraine that has proudly seen the birth and affirmation of many talents in the international arena. Their tour has turned into a mission of peace; in their concerts their interpretations invoke peace and solidarity for their families and their compatriots who live under the terror of bombs.

These are the fourteen musicians of the Solist Kiev Ensemble who next Tuesday (March 15) at 9 pm will be welcomed by the City of Viareggio in Torre del Lago for a concert (Auditorium Enrico Caruso) which will also and above all be an opportunity to show closeness to the Ukrainian people. “Viareggio is the seat of the largest Ukrainian community in the whole province – declares the mayor Giorgio Del Ghingaro -: in agreement with the Prefecture we are activating the necessary procedures for reception. Through music, on the other hand, we express our closeness to the Ukrainian people and to all the people who suffer from the senseless madness of war ”.
