INSTALLATIONS
4 installations in as many iconic places in the historic center of Lucca curated by international contemporary artists. The multimedia artist Francesco Zavattari will sign with his unmistakable sign the installation Baluardo di Neve e di Stelle in the basement of the bastion San Martino and the Lucense Christmas tree in Piazza Guidiccioni.
The Belgian architect, but naturalized from Lucca, Michel Boucquillon is entrusted with setting up the Christmas Tree in piazza San Martino. 5 meters for a large tree made of Alucobond, a stratified material, cut with numerical control in red and shiny gold with decorations specially created for the occasion in unique specimens.
Emiliana Martinelli , born in Lucca but an international designer, proposes a Grove in Piazza San Giovanni, a path that is anything but dark, but bright and in a perfect festive atmosphere.
In Piazza Scalpellini, #ReCycleXmasTree the sustainable installation of the GAA/Architecture group . An essential metal structure whose decorations are made with recycled plastic bottles and LED lighting with an on-timer to guarantee energy savings. New life to waste objects and a reflection on sustainability issues.
