Concert and Guided Tour of Villa Bottini “Musical Frescoes”

The architectural-musical journey will be animated by the students of the A. Passaglia music-artistic high school led by the teachers Monica Lorenzini and Francesca Mascolo.

The guided tour of the villa will alternate with musical interludes featuring the girls of the female choir of the musical high school directed by Ausilia Cristofaro and Lucia Coli and by the Concentus Lucensis . Antonio Barsanti Transverse flute, Linda Severi straight flute, Francesca Mascolo harpsichord will perform pieces taken from the Baroque repertoire and will play with faithful copies of period instruments.

The cycle of talks between music and art aims to bring the two artistic languages ​​into dialogue, giving life to cultural events and experiences which from time to time are curated by musicologists, art historians, instrument makers and musicians. The route was designed by Linda Severi and is in its fifth year.
