On Monday 13, Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 February, the auditorium in Piazza del Suffragio will alternate concerts, meetings and conferences with great six-string performers and experts (“Las seis cuerdas” is precisely the title of this edition).
On Monday 13th evening, at 9pm, Dusan Bogdanović, famous guitarist and composer, will inaugurate the festival with a long-awaited concert that will see him perform with other musicians and guitar virtuosos: the Boccherini Guitar Quartet, the Lanini – Festa duo, the Greek guitarist Antigoni Goni and the duo formed by Giampaolo Bandini and Cesare Chiacchiaretta on the accordion.
Tuesday 14th, at 6pm, a meeting with one of the greatest and most appreciated luthiers in the world, Andrea Tacchi, who will reveal the secrets of his guitars. To follow, at 9pm, the concert by Antogoni Goni, with music by Tarrega, Llobet, Granados, Bogdanovic, Theodorakis.
Wednesday 15th at 5pm, still in the Auditorium of the “Boccherini” Conservatory, musicians, enthusiasts and even just those who want to deepen their knowledge of the instrument, will have the opportunity to attend the conference held by Dusan Bogdanović, currently engaged in the ” Boccherini” also for a masterclass together with Antigoni Goni.
