Historical Reenactment at Villa Reale
The historical re-enactment is back for the sixth consecutive year with the association Le Vie del Tempo, again in mid-September as has become tradition!
Visiting the Park of the Villa Reale is once again the ideal opportunity to take a journey through time, letting yourself be enchanted by the water games, resting under the weeping willow branches, sitting along the shores of the lake and walking around waiting to meet the reenactors: with their tableaux vivants they know how to recreate the ancient atmospheres and revive the most splendid periods of the past of this unique place, so rich in stories to tell.
A garden “of illusion” that evokes suggestions of distant worlds, “a paradise where all men, all architecture and all civilizations are united”, where illusion reigns, propitious for party and fun, that of Villa Reale di Marlia where you can withdraw and receive without label. A new journey through time, this time in the name of extravagance, of the exotic much loved in the 1700s, a garden party that visitors can attend, meeting the reenactors in its most evocative corners.
USEFUL INFO AT WHAT TIME? From 10 am to 5 pm the reenactors animate part of the park of Villa Reale. The park remains open until 6pm, while the museums until 5.30pm.
CAN I STAY AS LONG AS I WANT TO ENTER? Yes, the ticket is valid until 6pm.
IS THE TICKET PRE-PURCHASE MANDATORY? Yes to guarantee a safe visit and to limit the entrances. CAN
I ARRIVE WHEN I WANT? Yes, if there are still tickets available for the time you want to arrive. We ask you to respect the booked time to allow for the correct quota of entrances. HOW MUCH? Like a normal park entrance at no extra charge! For season ticket holders, admission is free and does not require a reservation.
