Holy Thursday Mass at the Cattedrale San Martino

Holy Thursday, April 14, at 6.30 pm with the Mass “in the Lord’s Supper” presided over by Archbishop Paolo Giulietti, the Easter Triduum begins .

As per tradition, on this occasion, the presbytery, the diaconal community and the faithful gather around the bishop, who presides, to strengthen the sense of the Lord’s call and confirm the unity of the local Church and its mission in the world. In the celebration, the Holy Oils will be consecrated and will be used for the sacraments in the months to come.

Also in the cathedral he will also preside over the Celebration in the Passion of the Lord on Good Friday April 15 at 6.30 pm and the Easter Vigil on the evening of Holy Saturday, April 16, which will begin at 10 pm. These celebrations will see the presence and animation of the parish community of Historic Center of Lucca.

Furthermore, on Saturday 16 April but in the morning at 9.30, the Archbishop will preside over a mass in the prison of Lucca. Finally, on Easter Sunday, Sunday 17 April, Msgr. Giulietti instead will celebrate at 11 in the Cathedral of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and at 18 he will be in the church of San Paolino in Viareggio.
