JUNGLE 2022. 23-26 JUNE, LUCCA BOTANICAL GARDEN
Jungle goes to the Moon. Objects of desire, worship and lust.
The Moon and the possibility to reach it until you touch it have always been protagonists of the dreams of humanity, starting from Luciano di Samosata in II BC to Elon Musk and now on.
When did man come out of nature to look at it from afar? What does technology tell us about us and our nature? Who is subject and who is object, who acts and who undergoes the changes and changes of what surrounds us?
GIUNGLA is a festival of contemporary art, an opportunity to meet and discuss the complex link between man, nature and technology.
Let’s go back to asking ourselves about the other from us, the Moon as a planet to conquer and to understand – and so possess, and the lunatics, the moody, the witches, the wizards, werewolves and other bizarre beings, that to the moon have bound their existence by. We will do it our way and in good company, with an exposition, meetings and workshops.
