Epiphany marks the feast day when the three wise men visited infant Jesus and when St John the Baptist baptized Jesus. This holiday takes place on January 6th each year.
La Befana, an old witch dressed in rags flying in the sky on her broom, brings sweets and presents to all the good children and coal to those who have been bad.
From 16h to 18h La Befana of the Misericordia di Lucca will be around the historic center of the city, to greet all the children and celebrate together the end of the holidays!
