Living Way Of The Cross in Ruota near Lucca

The living Via Crucis will take place on Saturday 9 April. A Ruota, the small hilltop village that has become famous for its living nativity scene, organizes a religious event also for Easter. The program of the initiative, now in its fifth edition and organized by the local cultural association, is very simple. It starts at 21 with all the “stations” in the streets of the town and in the green area. In case of bad weather, however, the event will be postponed for 24 hours, it will be celebrated at 9 pm on Sunday 10 April.  As always, all residents will actively participate and since the event is outdoors and since 31 March there is no longer a state of emergency but still the green pass, it is also a way to express the fundamental concept of Easter, the Resurrection,
