Lucca Summer Festival: Blur

Lucca Summer Festival is thrilled to announce that Blur will perform a very special show at the area beside the Walls of Lucca on Saturday 22nd July 2023.
It will be the only Blur concert in Italy and the first show in our country since 2013. The event will see Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree reunite as Blur to perform their iconic songs at the band’s first show at the Lucca Summer Festival. The evening’s program will be completed by some special guests who will be announced later.
Since debuting with the album Leisure in 1991, Blur have gone on to revolutionize the sound of British pop music with their next five albums all topping the charts: Parklife (1994), The Great Escape (1995), Blur (1997), 13 (1999) and Think Tank (2003) and a string of Top 10 singles, including two No. 1 with Country House and Beetlebum which helped propel the band to mass popularity at home and abroad. Regarded as one of the biggest British bands of the past three decades, Blur have released eight studio albums and collected ten NME Awards, six Q Awards, five BRIT Awards and an Ivor Novello Award, and played live to thousands of devoted fans all over the world. The band’s most recent album, The Magic Whip, topped charts worldwide upon its release in 2015.
