Johnny is a radio reporter who is very busy with a project for
work that takes him around America to interview children on the
uncertain future of our world. His sister Viv asks him to look after
her 8-year-old son Jesse, while she looks after the baby’s father,
who has mental problems. Johnny finds himself bonding with his grandson in one
a way that he would never have foreseen, taking it with him on a journey from Los Angeles to New York and New Orleans.
