Puccini Festival: Turandot

The unfinished Puccini opera, which will mark the 100th anniversary of the first posthumous performance after the death of its author in 2026, returns to the stage for four performances in the Puccini Festival staging with the scenes designed by Angelo Linzalata created by the artists of the Carnival Citadel .
A production that bears the signature directed by Daniele Abbado who saw in Turandot, a masterpiece of the twentieth century, a work of extraordinary modernity. A symbolic and minimal “contemporary” stage system, for an absolutely modern work in which the important technological approach is evident; innovative luminous bodies also illuminate the colourful, modern costumes by Giovanna Buzzi.
