We Are Women

WAW (acronym of We are women) which will be staged on Friday 26 August at 9 pm in the Cloister of S. Caterina (Real Collegio – Lucca)

It tells the meeting between two opera singers who, intoning famous opera arias, show how complicated it is to be a woman and to dialogue with the male universe, represented on stage by the pianist who accompanies them.

Their reflection, conducted in ironic and amusing tones, makes use of arias by Puccini, Mozart, Bizet, Rossini, to name but a few. The show, conceived, written and directed by Nicola Fanucchi, boasts the prestigious voices of the Afghan mezzo (in exile) Mashal Arman and the soprano Antonella Biondo.
