“Wednesday Break My Heart” music project

Everyone has a set of records that have had particular significance in their personal history or consider them important for historical or cultural reasons. Albums, in short, which for some reason have left a deep mark.

Sky Stone & Songs wants to know these records and the stories that surround them and, for this reason, opens a space to anyone who wants to share them.

In the wake of the success of the cycle of meetings on the history of music ‘Friday I’m In Love’, a new appointment is born, this time in the afternoon, which, again playing on the lyrics of the Cure song, will be called ‘Wednesday Break My Heart’ : every Wednesday, from 18 to 19, doors open at the Sky Stone, in via Veneto, to take part in this project and occupy the ‘free territory’, helping to create a daily garrison of music, art and culture.

Stefano Nottoli will start this cycle of meetings who will talk about ‘Ovunque proteggi’ by Vinicio Capossela.

«In these years of meetings and insights into the history of music – says René Bassani, owner of Sky Stone – we have seen that when it comes to music, there is so much interest, so much passion and often our eyes sparkle. For this reason, we have thought of an appointment in the late afternoon, during which anyone can talk about a record that he considers particularly important ».

How to participate? «It’s very simple – explains Bassani -: just contact us and tell us which album you want to talk about and that’s it. The first free Wednesday on the calendar will be ‘occupied’ by those who have proposed. The invitation to participate, therefore, is really aimed at everyone and we hope that this initiative will become a fixed appointment of the week in Lucca”.
