Did You Know . . . that you can dispose of your defunct electronics just over the river in Monte San Quirico? It’s a quick drive to get rid of your junk in a responsible manner at Stazione Ecologica. Be sure to have your garbage card with you although it does seem a bit of ‘dealer’s choice’ whether they will ask for it or not.
Services: Electronic waste and and junk disposal, larger items like plastics and cartons. They also accept old batteries and used cooking oils.

ACCESS TO ECOLOGICAL STATIONS
Rough translation as follows. I suspect some of them reflect old COVID rules.
Rules of conduct
1 Go to the collection center only for 1 reason of real necessity.
2 Enter one at a time and always respect the safety distance.
3 Wait your turn in the car. There must be only one person inside.
4 It is mandatory to wear a mask and gloves (note: we did not have nor see anyone using these items.)
5 It is mandatory to respect the distance of 1.8 m and avoid contact with the operator. (The operator will point out where to drop your items.)
6 It is requested to contain the quantities of waste, so as to allow all citizens to access the collection center.
7 Waste must be brought already divided by category.
8 It is FORBIDDEN to abandon waste outside the collection centre.
