Guided tours of the city’s churches for the Christmas period

Thanks to the Prefecture and the Parish of the historic center and the collaboration with the city tourist guide associations, the tourism office of the Municipality of Lucca has organized a calendar of dates for this holiday period, from 8 December to 8 January, in which it will be possible to visit churches usually closed to the public, but rich in beauty and history.

For this edition, these are the churches of Sant’Alessandro, a small Romanesque jewel, Santa Maria Forisportam, San Leonardo nei Borghi, with the precious Art Nouveau chapel, Santa Caterina, the church of the cigar makers and Santa Maria Corte Orlandini with the precious seventeenth-century crib.

The visits will be free, but with limited numbers and therefore reservations will be required. Reservations can be made from Thursday 1 December. Call 0583-583 150
