The theater review aimed at the new generations is back in summer version, from 25 June to 5 August 2022. The eighth edition of the Lucca Teatro Festival – “What are the clouds?”, Created by La Cattiva Compagnia with the contribution of the Municipality of Lucca and the Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundation and the patronage of the Toscana Spettacolo Onlus Foundation and in collaboration with Province of Lucca / Cantiere Giovani, Agorà Cultural Center / Children’s Library, Municipality of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, FITA Provincial Committee of Lucca and Real Collegio returns for the third year in the summer version, giving life to a rich calendar of shows for families, all with free admission and in complete safety in open spaces. An edition in memory of Giovanni Fedeli, the artistic director of the festival,

A festival that consolidates its cultural vocation and confirms itself as a leader throughout the provincial territory, in offering entertainment aimed at families, with 14 high-level events in two months.

The shows this year are all in the evening, with free admission, dedicated to children of all ages and their families, presented by companies of the highest profile, largely awarded in various competitions, from all over Italy.

For children and teenagers there is also the opportunity to participate in two workshops that through play and theater teach them to learn and socialize with their peers. The creative workshops “Playing to grow up” on 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 July, from 17 to 19, (maximum 18 children per workshop) from 6 to 11 years and the theater workshop “To be or not to be” from Monday 1 to Friday 5 August, from 10 to 13 (maximum 20 children) ages 12/17 years.
