We made an unplanned visit to San Gimignano, the Tuscan town with many old towers still standing. Medieval skyscrapers in the heart of Tuscany. We had to replace a pump from our pool and found that in Castellina in Chianti it was nearly half the price. It was worth a trip!
We are Celia and Enzo, and we live between Lucca and Bagni di Lucca in Northern Tuscany. We want to share our love of the area, its beauty and culture and show you what ordinary life is like here. We also hope to venture into the rest of the boot and of course, we’ll drop into Enzo’s Neapolitan mother’s recipe book.
